Helen King, MD, FIDSA, is an associate professor of internal medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Geographic Medicine at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. Her clinical and research focus includes treatment and prevention of HIV and sexually transmitted infections, and she has led the development of sexual health clinical programs at Parkland Health. She currently serves as the infectious diseases service line chief at Parkland Health, associate program director for the Infectious Diseases Fellowship and president-elect for the UT Southwestern Faculty Senate.
