Christopher J. Graber, MD, MPH, FIDSA, is a staff physician in the Infectious Diseases Section at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System and is professor of clinical medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is the director of the GLA antimicrobial stewardship program and program director of the UCLA Multicampus Fellowship in Infectious Diseases. After graduating from the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical School, he completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Washington with a chief residency at the Seattle VA Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in infectious diseases at the University of California, San Francisco, where his research focus was on the clinical epidemiology of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus infections. A member of IDSA’s Journal Club, his current research interests lie in implementing cognitive support interventions in the context of antimicrobial stewardship.
