IDSA Honors Senators, Representatives Making an Impact on ID
The Infectious Diseases Society of America is presenting its “2023 Legislative Impact Awards” to a bipartisan group of U.S. senators and representatives who have successfully led the passage of a new law or secured increased federal resources to address top IDSA priorities, including supporting the ID/HIV workforce and combating antimicrobial resistance.
“These lawmakers have championed urgently needed policies and investments and delivered meaningful results for ID/HIV health professionals and the patients and communities we serve,” said IDSA President, Carlos del Rio, MD, FIDSA. “Thanks to their leadership, our nation will be better prepared for infectious diseases threats.”
