Science Speaks Covers IDWeek

As infectious diseases and HIV experts and epidemiologists from 90 countries gathered in Washington, D.C. for IDWeek 2019, the global IDSA and HIVMA Science Speaks blog was there to cover the event. Coverage included reporting on sessions exploring New York health officials’ successful response to a protracted measles outbreak; plans to end HIV as an epidemic in America; an update on the ongoing Ebola epidemic in the Democratic Republic of Congo; and data highlighting a neglected driver of tuberculosis incidence worldwide.
