Federal Funding Bill Moving through Senate

The Senate passed a bipartisan budget deal Aug. 1 that would increase overall spending levels for federal programs. Approval of the deal, which passed the House late last month, is expected to pave the way for Senate Appropriations Committee action in September on funding for domestic and global infectious diseases and HIV programs. Please contact your senators and ask them to support full funding for federal ID and HIV programs in 2020.
