New IDSA Patient Fact Sheet, Social Graphics Debunk Measles Vaccine Myths

As the number of reported measles cases in the United States steadily increases, the growth of anti-vaccine propaganda continues to threaten the public’s protection against this frightening illness. IDSA is committed to helping parents understand that the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine is safe, effective and vital to public health and has created a “myths and facts” patient handout that you can download and share in person or via social media. You can also help IDSA debunk common myths about the measles vaccine by downloading and sharing the social media graphics below with the hashtags #VaccinesWork, #MeaslesOutbreak and #Measles.
